"Lost track of the days; we're in Leith, Edinburgh for our final night. Dinner at the Vaults. It's been a great trip with lots of new experiences. Looking forward to getting home and taking a break from whisky for a week or so."
Day 9 - Speyside Whisky Festival
The first event was a tasting at Glenfarclas, followed by a full tour at Balvenie where we also visited the old castle. We had a special visit to Tamdhu, where we tasted a whisky from the year I was born, 1969, making it 55 years old—the oldest we have ever tried. It was fantastic. We ended the day with a fireside event by the river. Tomorrow is our last day, and then we're off to Edinburgh for a couple of nights before heading home.

We took the 5:10 train from Paddington to Heathrow for a one-hour flight to Glasgow. After picking up our car, we drove through the breathtaking Glencoe, eventually reaching Fort Augustus, the home of the Loch Ness Monster.
Day 4
On our final day in London, we dedicated the whole day to exploring the British Museum, followed by a delicious curry dinner. We wrapped up the night with a pint of Guinness and a cigar. A 4 a.m. wake-up call awaited us, as we had an early flight to catch to Scotland.
Day 3
A morning run around Hyde Park, passing the Serpentine and Lady Diana's memorial. Johnny enjoyed a walk around Camden and the canals. Then, lunch at the Riding House restaurant, indulging in a Sunday roast with beef and Yorkshire pudding. In the afternoon, a relaxing shisha session, followed by a delectable dessert at the Chiltern Firehouse. The last photos capture the place we're staying at and the stunning view. Clearly, we're not having any fun at all!
Day 2
On a chilly, rainy day, we strolled through Soho and the West End before ducking into a cozy pub for lunch and catching the West Ham vs. Liverpool match, which ended in a 2-2 draw. Later, we attended a musical show called the Choir of Man.
Maria, we swung by your donut shop, Donutelier, but unfortunately, you weren't around, so we indulged in all the treats. Honestly, you wouldn't have enjoyed them anyway!
Hello Amedea,Maia, Maria, Madelena, James, Natalia and Christian
Greetings from a chilly London, where it's just 10 degrees! We're staying near Oxford Street, right in the heart of the city. We started early to explore famous historical places like Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, and Piccadilly Circus, just to name a few.
We also discovered a donut shop called Donutelier, which Maria would absolutely adore. Maria, we will buy a few, eat them and tell you what they tasted like.
Later, we spent the entire day in Greenwich, enjoying a scenic ride along the Thames.
Our first stop was the Maritime Museum, where we did the Treasures Tour including Captain Cook's K2 chronometer, used on his voyage to Australia. We then visited the Royal Observatory to stand on the Prime Meridian (the line that devides the East and West) and admired the Harrison Clocks—historical timepieces that solved the problem of determining longitude at sea.
We wrapped up the day with a two-hour walking tour around the city walls, passing St. Paul's Cathedral, and then across to the South Bank, where we saw Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
